Goodness
“I must be good and right to remain worthy.”
- THE GIFT
- Integrity, discernment and the desire to restore what is broken.
- THE INVITATION
- Receive grace before improvement. Let goodness become love rather than self-punishment.

A Room within The Traveller
Not nine boxes. Nine narrative invitations to notice how a gift, a longing and a protective strategy may have become woven together.
Listen for your story ↓THE MAP IS NOT THE PERSON
You are not a number. A pattern may illuminate where your attention habitually travels, but it cannot contain your history, culture, body, relationships or identity in Christ.
The Enneagram is most helpful when it softens judgment, reveals automatic protection and opens a conversation with Holy Spirit. It becomes harmful when it excuses behaviour, predicts destiny or replaces genuine knowing.
NINE STORIES OF PROTECTION & GIFT
“I must be good and right to remain worthy.”
“I must be needed to remain loved.”
“I must achieve and appear successful to have value.”
“I must be uniquely significant to be truly seen.”
“I must conserve myself and understand before I participate.”
“I must anticipate danger and find certainty to remain safe.”
“I must keep options open and stay ahead of pain to remain free.”
“I must remain strong and in control so I cannot be harmed.”
“I must minimise myself and avoid conflict to preserve connection.”
The narrative approach
Notice which stories feel lived rather than merely familiar.
Ask when this movement became useful and what it helped protect.
Watch where attention travels during ordinary life, stress and relationship.
Ask Holy Spirit to reveal what information alone cannot transform.
