A journey back to the life you were made for

Recovering Wholeness

An invitation to notice what has shaped you, meet Jesus with honesty, and follow Holy Spirit toward a freer way of living.

THE JOURNEY OF RECOVERING WHOLENESS

From hiding to walking with Him

Each of us brings a unique story, shaped by different relationships and life experiences. Yet we share this reality: we have all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. Our Father’s response was love. He gave His Son to pay the ransom we could never pay and bring us back into relationship with Him.

The garden gives us a picture of the closeness we were created for: walking with God in the cool of the day. Yet the whisper, “You will be like God,” drew us towards taking life into our own hands. We still feel that pull towards power, position and performance—trying to secure through our efforts what can only be received through love.

Religious performance keeps our eyes on our own résumé: Have I done enough? Have I failed again? Can I make myself acceptable? The Gospel turns our eyes towards Jesus. God came near because our performance could never bring us home. His perfect love meets the fear that keeps us striving, ashamed and hiding.

Through the blood of Jesus Christ, the way into a life of closeness with the Father is open. We can bring our flaws and unfinished places into His light. His love gives us the security to tell the truth, receive grace and participate in change.

This is the journey of recovering wholeness: continually returning to the One who loves us. God is the central Person in the story. As we keep looking towards His love and walking with Him, we are being transformed into His likeness. Our doing can increasingly become an expression of relationship, rather than an attempt to earn it.

THE LIVING WAY

At the centre is Jesus Christ.

Recovering Wholeness is held together by a Person, not a system.

We long to know Jesus in lived relationship, beyond an intellectual definition of Him. He does not merely show us a better way to live. He is the Living Way.

Help us understand what experience may have shaped within our brains and nervous systems.

NLP & COACHING

PRACTICES

Help us establish new rhythms in ordinary life.

These are maps, lenses and tools. None of them is our saviour. Jesus remains the One to whom the map points.

This journey is not another measure of whether we are succeeding or failing. The Traveller does not have to become whole enough to approach Him.

We recover wholeness in relationship with Him.
